MISSION:The mission of BAC is to provide persons with disabilities innovative services and opportunities to achieve personal success.JOB SUMMARY:Coordinates the daily activities of BACs LaunchIT program. LaunchIT is a program that helps people with unique abilities learn the skills and confidence to pursue a career in Information Technology. Provides guidance and various community linkages to participants in BAC programs to support them and facilitate their successful handling of issues. Work is performed independently under limited supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Position typically requires processing and interpreting of more complex, less clearly defined issues.EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The list of essential functions below is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this job. Assists and coordinates service provisions for the LaunchIT program for the participants and partner employers.
Works with vocational rehabilitation (VR) and other sources to solicit referrals and facilitate the referral process; maintains adequate contact with referral sources regarding participants program goals and desired outcomes.
Schedules and facilitates individual program planning meetings with participants, referral sources, family members, and other providers and supports team members as appropriate; ensures that plans are developed for each participant and monitored monthly.
Collaborates with Codecraft Works technical team to develop curriculum and training manuals for new projects as assigned.
Facilitates learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and one on one individualized training.
Assists with tracking of LaunchIT program data for outcome measurements in shared database and participant surveys to obtain and maintain future funding for the program.
Assists with maintaining contact with post-graduates to provide supportive services and job placement assistance, updates employment outcomes in database.
Works with administrator/management on assigned special projects as requested.
Collaborates with Codecraft Works team to address concerns with attendance or training progress and helps to resolve participant complaints and issues in a timely manner.
Assists with monitoring participant files to ensure quality assurance and timely completion of reports and documentation in compliance with legal, funding, and accrediting agencies.
Develops and maintains professional partnerships with local businesses; facilitates and ensures professional communications between staff and funding sources.
Assists with monthly billing of funding sources is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Provides leads to Administrator for potential expansion and growth opportunities for the agency.
Works in partnership with community relations to recruit participants for the LaunchIT training program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in social work, behavioral science, or related field.
Two or more years of experience working in social services.
Knowledge and/or experience in the IT field.
A combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may suffice for the above requirements.
Experience with creating and teaching curriculum.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
Must satisfy Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level 2 background screening requirements.
Must meet and maintain Vocational Rehabilitations car insurance requirements to transport individuals.
Must have a valid driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle background check.
Must have, within the first 3 months of employment, first aid, cardiopulm nary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) certifications and eight hours of continuing competence units (CCUs) from the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD).
Those with Supported Employment responsibilities, it is required to complete the initial and annual Continuing Competency Units as specified by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities.
